A mat class based on traditional pilates exercises mixed with modern moves to keep things fresh and interesting. All classe focus on core strength and include stretching in a fun and playful atmosphere. Modifications and challenges are given to accommodate all levels. Equipment will be introduced on the 2nd Monday of each month to add variety, to deepen the mind-body connection, and to expose students to the many tools Generations has available for use. With regular attendance, members can look forward to getting stronger and decreasing (or preventing) back pain while enjoying the benefits of increased mobility in a welcoming, upbeat, and non-intimidating environment.
A 45 minute cardio program -with or without the step- designed with all fitness level in mind. This class can be the first step back to physical fitness. The Generations’ trainers developed a fun and engaging class that will build strength in the heart and limbs.
Chair Yoga-The Yoga Practice for Everyone!

Practice yoga postures sitting and standing using the chair as support.

Joy is an Experienced-Registered Yoga Teacher and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider with 16 years teaching experience.

You will see great improvements in strength and flexibility as you challenge your mind and body. This class will not only aim to strengthen the core, but will utilize weights to provide total-body conditioning using athletic drills.
This is an introduction to Dynamic Spinal Stick Stretching. Dynamic Spinal Stick Stretching is for everyone young and old. It is an innovative, systematic and effective approach to fitness and body awareness through warm ups, stretching and toning while using a 4 foot or 6 foot rattan pole as a partner or tool. It is a gentle blend of yoga, tai chi, and martial arts with its purpose to learn new motor skills. Dynamic Spinal Stick Stretching improves posture, reduces stress, energizes, helps prevent injuries, enhances flexibility, improves coordination, strength and endurance. The focus is on postural alignment, spinal stabilization, and overall range of motion with the use of a rattan pole. Through innovative movements which are performed at various speeds and in various directions, with mindful repetition, correct form is learned and good mechanical movement patterns are established.
The Functional Fitness exercise class challenges you to the “core”. It incorporates all of the major muscle groups as well as the muscles you never knew you had! You will get 30 minutes of efficient, quality functional movements that will enhance not only the “trouble areas” but also it will nourish your spine, revitalize your postural muscles and strengthen your core with every movement. You will leave the class feeling as if you have been challenged in every way; feeling refreshed and re-energized as your metabolism speeds up and your posture, strength and flexibility all improve.
High Intensity Training-This class's focus is on muscle and strength building.  It also involves Plyometric work for cardio.  All levels of fitness are welcome.  If you're ready for results, come join us in H.I.T. 
A high energy, high intensity workout, focusing from core to gluts using Pliates & Yogafit moves combined with flexi bar, kamagon balls, medicine, bosu & more. Keeping your heart rate up as your body fat goes down- Yeah!
A total body workout that emphasizes body alignment to build
muscular strength, endurance, flexibility and balance. This class focuses on
abdominals, hips, and lower back to create a power center, enabling the rest of the body to move freely.

This total body workout program is designed by a certified group fitness instructor and personal trainer. This class gives you your recommended daily requirement of cardio combined with resistance training. Build cardio fitness and strength while enjoying the music and energy of the class.
Restorative:  In this gentle yoga class, you will be supported in every pose so that you can completely relax. You will leave this class feeling refreshed, renewed & restored.
 
Restoritive Yin Mix:  Blending stress reducing supportive postures withe long held postures to stretch the connective tissues throughout the body, calming the mind. All levels

Safe, heart-healthy and gentle on the joints.  This class includes easy-to-follow low-impact movements designed to give you a cardiovascular workout, alternating with periods of upper and lower body strengthening moves.  Standing abdominal conditioning and stretching round out this workout.  Silver Circuit is designed to energize your active lifestyle. 
Muscular Strength & Range of Motion® Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
Vinyasa or Flow is linking postures together, moving from one to the next using breath and awareness of our bodies.  this is generally a slower flow.  All levels.

Roll it Out, one of our most popular classes incorporating the use of a foam roller and balls, actually mimics the same benefits to tight achy muscles as a massage! The foam roller not only stretches tight muscles and tendons, but it also breaks down soft tissue adhesions (aka a knot!) and muscle tissue. By using your own body weight and a foam roller, you can perform a self-massage, break up trigger points, and smooth tight muscles while increasing blood flow and circulation, which reduces pain, improves flexibly and range of motion.
In addition to the rolling we will be doing dynamic stretching and some of our favorite mat pilates' exercises. This class is open to all levels and is a great way to safely strengthen your entire body from the inside out.
Yoga is a complete mind body & breath workout using static and fluid postures. Yoga increases your flexibility and maintains the range of motion in your joints. Yoga creates a stronger body while releasing stress and fatigue.
